NOTE: According to the 1850 Census of Stoddard Co. MO:
Green was 14 years old.  
This would make his birth year 1835 or 1836.
The family Bible
of A. Inez Dowdy Rowe, dtr. of Green,
has his birth entered as May 24, 1828.
This was obviously the date used for his obit above.
