Comments: I am looking for information on my Grandfather. His name was Henry Lester Han :-) .  I do not know is father's name. His mother's maiden name was SHIRLEY (my mother thinks). He had a sister named Esta Han :-) BREWER that lived her life in Fr. Worth.  My father was my grandfather's only child.   His name was Billy Ray Han :-) .  Henry Lester Han :-) was called Lester by his friends.  He married Evelyn KNIGHT when she was very young.   They divorced shortly after my father was born.  He then married a woman named Leona ?  They were married until his death.  All of these people are now deceased and I am running into walls everywhere.  Do you have any information on any of these people?  Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated!  Candi

Comments: I have been researching my father's family but have been unable to come up with anything. I have very little information to work with. My father's name was LOTTIS ATCHESON HANCOCK born on December 6, 1903, in Gustine, Texas. He passed away in September 1978 in Slaton, Texas. As listed on his death certificate, his father's name was an ED HANCOCK; his mother was listed as NELLIE BARKER. I was wondering if that ED HANCOCK is the same THOMAS EDWARD "ED" HANCOCK born on March 7, 1882, you have on your list could be his father. I have no other information with which to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Comments: I am researching the HANDCOCKS/HANCOCKS of Cumberland & Franklin Co, PA . They were orginally residing in Frederick Co., MD in 1810 and later moved to Pa. in the 1830's. William & Elizabeth HANDCOCK are first seen in the 1810 Md Census. By 1820 MD Census, they had 4 sons: JOHN, WILLIAM, AQUILLA & SOLOMON HANDCOCK and 2 daughters, names unknown. I enjoyed reading the other notes on this site. I don't know, if I can connect to the Massachusetts Branch or the Maryland Branches of Charles or Worchester Co.,MD. Sandy Clippinger slc@blazenet.net
